China -Wumen Bridge

Wumen Bridge was built in 1084 and is the highest ancient bridge in Suzhou now. The bridge is 11 meters high and 66.3 meters long. it was rebuilt into a single arched stone bridge. Its construction dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty but was rebuilt in the reign of Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty. Likened to a rainbow, it spans the Grand Canal in a single arch.
