Biwako Bridge (Lake Biwa Bridge) is the bridge across Lake Biwa (the biggest in Japan), in Katata, Shiga. It is 1350m long, and 26.3m over the lake. Built to link Otsu and Moriyama cities in 1964, this bridge has a cycle only path and is free to use for cyclists and pedestrians.
