Stamp Issue : 1969-02-15

Kerisper Bridge (Pont de Kerisper) is a beautiful white-colored arch bridge what is located in La Trinite-sur-Mer in Bretagne, Northwestern France connecting to the nearby Saint-Philibert.
Originally a steel beam bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel, started use in 1901, due to its destruction of the German army in 1944, was rebuilt into a 203m long arch bridge in 1956-1958 at the mouth of Crac'h River.
As the bridge is constantly exposed to the processes of denudation by nature, it has been repaired again in 2009 for 3 years.
